Seen from a distance, all metal modular tanks may appear similar. However, true product quality lies in the precision achieved through advanced manufacturing technologies.
At Esinoks, the components that form modular tanks are produced with high precision using CNC machines. One of the advanced technologies used by very few companies worldwide—5-axis laser cutting—is utilized exclusively by Esinoks in Türkiye.
Watertightness is ensured through specially designed gaskets developed specifically for modular tanks, selected according to the product type and application. These flexible seals fit together with high precision, preventing leakage even under extreme temperature variations.
For metal tanks to be durable, watertight, and long-lasting, the forming and cutting of steel sheets must be executed with absolute accuracy. Modular water tanks are tested for resistance against heavy impacts, all weather conditions, high loads, and earthquakes.
DESIGN
Esinoks 1080 mm modular tanks have a structure in which the roof and base are made of flat steel plates, while the side modules are formed steel panels produced in presses.
The flat plates forming the roof and base are joined with internal flanges, whereas the press-formed side modules are assembled using external flanges.
Side panels can be manufactured in sizes of 1080 mm x 1080 mm or 540 mm x 1080 mm, depending on usage requirements.
Thanks to advanced mold technology, the shape of the panels forming the tank is highly precise and flawless.
Panels are pressed in different molds according to their thickness classes. They are shaped using a deep drawing method in presses, and any excess material on the mounting surfaces is cut with a 3D laser cutting machine. This ensures that the mounting surfaces of all produced panels are consistently accurate and uniform.
MATERIAL ALTERNATIVES
The thickness range of pressed panels is 1.2 mm – 5 mm.
Hot-dip galvanized steel (EN 10111) is used, with galvanizing applied in accordance with EN ISO 1461:2009.
Pre-galvanized steel (DIN EN 10346)
AISI 304 (EN 1.4301)
AISI 316 (EN 1.4401)
DESIGN OPTIONS
The roof sheets of 1080 mm modular steel water tanks can be designed to be watertight. In this case, no unused volume remains inside the tank, enabling 100% full capacity utilization. Tanks with watertight roofs also provide a better engineering solution in terms of corrosion resistance.
The tank can be divided into two or more compartments using a separator. Information regarding this application should be obtained from the Esinoks R&D department.
